Quality,

Im giving you a zero, cause I'm mad. Nowhere is there an option to change the quality.

If you're going to remove the right-click menu, make sure there's an easy way to change the quality.

Because you dont have that, I'm mad.

Alright, I'm not giving you a zero, BUT CHANGE IT!

As far as the actual game, It's brick, so I can't give you too high of a score. See, I'm one who values originality, and though now you can smash through a bunch of blocks, that was the only different thing.

Still a good game though!

Why?

I constantly ask myself how games like this can get above a 4 (or above even a 3 for that matter).

This game feels like a tutorial. In fact, I guarantee it is. I've seen many pool game/ ball physics tutorials that run remarkable like this. The only difference is the user controlled ball, Which cannot touch the other balls anyways so the designer had to do basic modification at most to the tutorial (assuming that it is a tutorial) to allow the user's ball. (Probably from another tutorial.)

Not to say that there is anything wrong with using tutorials, they are intended to help you learn (and lets face it, there’s no way I would want to figure out ball physics if its been done already). But that was you're entire game. I could see something like this acceptable as a minigame.

This individual game was fun, but lacked anything that could enable me to label it as "good." It was very short and very simple. If anything ever happened, it was placed too far into the game for the average audience to attain. The physics were actually rather glitchy in some instances (high velocities where balls only "touched"). This is to be expected. But, considering that that’s all this game has to offer, I would expect the collision detection and response to be perfect, especially for it to have such a high score.

Finally, I just want to say, don't let me discourage you. I'm only being this critical because it has a score of about 4.2, which I think is ridiculous. It is better than the average game of this type.

Plus, I could not turn the music off; I was rather perturbed about that.

Visually appealing, but that's all

Besides the Red Baron looking amazing, I see no reason why this game has such a high score.

I mean, even old nintendo fighting games had better gameplay than this, at least you could kick as well as punch. I bet they would have done more if they had more buttons :)

It's really not that good in terms of game play. Hit "a" constantly, hit enemies, rinse and repeat.

Someone earlier mentioned this being like Alien Hominid, that a disgrace to Alien Hominid. AH was done right, you could jump to multiple levels, there was some hint of intelligent AI, and other things i dont feel like going into now.

My point is, that this game is amazing graphically (aside from some rather strange enemies), but for it to be amazing it needs good gameplay.

Gameplay should be everything. Key Example, Neon. Simple graphics, amazing gameplay.

sorry you didnt like.
we'll try better next time.

alright...

kind of fun for a little bit. not too much changes to quickly, after like, 10 minutes the wind changes, i stopped playing though because it got too laggy, even with quality at low.

I had an idea like this at one point, its good to see something like this finally.

Good luck on your next games though, im sure they will be very good.

Sweet!

HOW IS THIS NOT RATED HIGHER?

How? deserves to be 5.0 and 10.0

"bug"

Theres the "right-click> forward" bug. Which generates a couple problems.

Awesome Game, I want to buy the console game!

I think there should be a level jump, or something. Maybe even just a continue.

found a glitch

I found a glitch, but there are two conditions and Im not sure what it is.

At first I played as AIM and all the stats worked ok. But after I died I clicked retry. It took me to a blank screen. I right-clicked and went to play. Then I played as MSN. And Knowledge and Defence went up, but strength would not increase. I tried this for three levels.

Other than that great game.

two words CHECK POINTS!!!

I would kill to have a checkpoint, i cant stand replaying entire levels.

with that out of the way nice game.

very original idea. thats a definate plus, people tend to not be original (look at all the ng dress-up games and stick movies, not to mention random crap)

maybe for future games dont disable the right-click menu, people (like me) like to be able to zoom in and check out detail and stuff

umm, move the background and foreground at different speeds, throw in a little more scenery

and difficulty levels, slow, medium and fast.

See the thing is, simple games like this are ok, but if its going to be simple you have to put more into other areas, like graphics, options, easter eggs. you could have had the koopas in there, the guys with the black shells, fish. Just stuff to think of for the sequel, cause i know you're going to make one. you better.

Reminds me of old NES games

It's not necesserally a bad game, its just that its nothing new or aww inspiring. The graphics aren't terrible, but they need a lot more work. The style's ok. It was easy to pick up and play and had the simple addiction that most old games had. The background music i recognised from Contra, and there wasnt many sound effects, so you get a two. Bugs exploding? Violence? Not really. In my book reality is a subset of violence. As far as being interactive, you move forward, jump, and shoot, not too interactive. And there wasn't really anything funny in the entire thing. I gave it a two overall, but it wasn't that bad. Keep it up and I bet you can make something awesome!

wrong.
